Adding Your Connections

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

Your Connections is where each user connects their own accounts. Every team member pairs their own account. This is required for end-to-end encrypted platforms where admin-level access is not available.

Your Connections covers:

  • WhatsApp
  • Signal
  • iMessage
  • Facebook Messenger
  • LinkedIn Messaging
  • X (Twitter) DMs
  • And additional platforms - check your dashboard for the full list
  • An active Comma Compliance account
  • The platform’s mobile app installed and logged in on your device
  • An admin must have toggled on “Allow your team to connect” for the platform

Before team members can connect their own accounts, an admin must enable each platform:

  1. Log in to the Comma dashboard as an admin
  2. Navigate to Integrations
  3. For each platform you want to enable, toggle on “Allow your team to connect”

Each team member follows these steps:

  1. On your computer, open a browser and log in to the Comma dashboard
  2. Navigate to Integrations > Your Connections
  3. Click Connect under the platform you want to link
  4. Follow the platform-specific instructions:
    • QR code platforms (WhatsApp, Signal) - A QR code appears on your computer screen. Open the app on your phone, go to Linked Devices, and scan it from there
    • iMessage - Sign in with your Apple ID and complete two-factor authentication (2FA). See the iMessage Setup guide for details.
    • OAuth platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X) - You’ll be redirected to the platform’s login page to authorize Comma

Your Connections is designed to capture business communications only:

  • Comma does not access personal messages
  • No MDM or device management is required
  • No apps are installed on the user’s device
  • No impact on battery life or device performance

View your connected integrations under Integrations > Your Connections. Each shows:

  • Connected - Actively capturing messages
  • Disconnected - Needs reconnection

If a connection drops (for example, after a phone reset), simply repeat the connection steps above.
